1. Definitions

Askitect.nl: the trade name used by Dafne Wiegers and Rimaan Aldujaili, who jointly provide the service offered through this website.

Client: any individual or legal entity who submits a question and/or payment through Askitect.nl.

Question: a brief design-related request concerning a (potential) home, submitted by the client.

Advice: the drawing(s), commentary, and suggestions provided by Askitect.nl based on the client’s question.

2. What we do

Askitect.nl offers fast and practical layout advice for residential properties based on your question and a shared property link (e.g. from Funda). You’ll receive a drawing (sometimes with alternatives) and an explanation from an experienced architect.

3. What we don’t do

Our advice does not constitute structural, legal, or technical consultancy.

 We do not perform structural calculations, handle permit applications, or offer detailed feasibility studies.

4. Liability

Askitect.nl is not liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of our advice.

All advice is used at your own risk.

Our advice is based on the information you provide. We cannot guarantee the outcome if this information is inaccurate or incomplete.

You may share the advice with others, but we are not responsible for how third parties use or interpret it.

5. Pricing & payment

The starting price is €49.95 (incl. VAT).

Final pricing depends on the scope of your question. You will receive a quote beforehand.

Work only begins after payment is received. The 24-hour delivery window starts after confirmation of payment.

6. Delivery time

We aim to deliver within 24 hours of payment.

In case of force majeure (illness, technical failure, internet outages), we reserve the right to extend the delivery time. We will inform you if this happens.

7. Right of withdrawal

Due to the nature of our custom service, you explicitly waive your right of withdrawal by submitting payment.

Once we begin working on your request, no refunds will be issued.

8. Intellectual property

All drawings, advice, and materials remain the intellectual property of Askitect.nl.

 You may use the material for personal use only. Republishing or commercial use is not allowed without our permission.

9. Case studies & publication

We may ask for permission to share anonymised versions of your case as examples on our website or social media. This will only happen with your approval.

10. Privacy

We process your personal data (such as your name and email) only to answer your question and issue an invoice.

 Please read our privacy policy to learn how we handle your data in accordance with the GDPR.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. Of course, we will always try to resolve matters together first.
